1000mW FPV Aomway TX and final integrations
So. Seems that I finally made it. The F550 is now ready for takeoff. With a total weight of 2.245g I'm also some 35g below the initial configuration with solid skids. I have moved the GPS to the center as I was forced to advance the Zenmuse a bit to avoid props in the picture. The battery goes now as far as possible to the rear end of the top-plate.
I wired up the OSD and the Aomway 1 Watt 5,8GHz TX. Works perfect with my Fatsharks. Just a bit noisy due to its integrated fan. I thought the power drain of the 1W was a lot higher compared to the Fatshark 600mW TX, but it consumes nearly the same.
Here's a small video from tonight's first flight test, I was easy on the sticks.
Hope wind calms down a bit to test it a bit further.
