Looks nice. Size-wise, probably more "park friendly" than the PZ line. In fact, it seems odd that this *isn't* a PZ bird.

It's smaller than what I'm interested in, so won't be in my hangar. I do hope we'll see some balsa warbirds added to the E-Flite line soon.

Let me guess the price. $150.00 If it has less then have the problems the Zero did it still isn't worth it. I buy it as a kit.

For people who like "funfighter"-size mini-warbirds, these certainly are exciting times. Lots and lots of choices, from several different brands, and more new ones keep coming out. Choices are good, but I wonder how much oversaturation the market can take. Here's yet another mini- P-51! ("Thank you sir may I have another?") Rather late to the party, but better late then never, right?

I'm a bit of a "Spelling Nazi"

"Hangars" are for aircraft, "hangers" are for clothes

I'll tell you something I'd be all over in an instant: if HH took that "giant scale Carbon-Z" concept they applied to the Carbon Cub, and released a great, big F4F Wildcat. Retracts of course would be a "must".

true. now that they have a p-51 in micro, mini, and parkflyer sized they've covered the offerings that most people would go for. and it does make sense for horizon to offer another p-51 given that everyone wants one. ah well. i'll keep waiting.

Nice looking bird. I'll be holding out for the FW-190 though.

$170 actually, ouch. http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...ProdID=EFL6150

I have the Zero 300, fun plane to fly. There are just so many other warbirds in the 650-800mm size that cost much, much less and are just as nice. I have several of them.

I do like Horizon products, but I can't justify the premium...

Ouch is right!!! For that price it better be more then perfect. The zero is a great flyer, but needed a ton of mods to make it reliable. Actually, turned me off to Eflite for their lack of actually flying the plane substantially before shipping the product. I notice this plane has the correct battery 450mah 3s Vs 450 2 s for the zero. The unplugable receiver might still be a problem with this plane. How important is that--not much, but it makes you not take the plane traveling. Can't break it down. Like I said I will buy the kit version if I ever need another 650mm plane.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Rx. On my Zero, guess what happened the first and only time I ever tried to unplug anything from the Rx? Luckily the Air Force tought me to solder all those years ago :-)

Even so, I love flying the Zero (painted in "captured" markings of course). If this new Mustang flies as well, I'll end up buying it. The Zero handles wind way better than I would ever have believed without flying it myself. It is a big mistake to lump it in with other "micros".

Hey all,

The E-Flite P-51 was designed here at Horizon and is not a re-branded product. You will not find this plane at any china factory direct places.

Hope that helps.

This costs $170, the gunfighter bl bnf costs $180 and is significantly bigger?

Hope it has a better thrust to weight ratio than the gunfighter, or else I'm missing something here.... at least it has landing gear.
