Suggestion for a BEC tap on newer or HV ESC's

Hi Guys, just an idea here to throw at CC and I will tell Pat in person this weekend.

How about a lead or plug to run BEC units on the ESC.

Right now I remove the shrink, solder on a lead to the BEC or input leads and put more shrink back on.

Tapping into the leads down wire can be a pain in the U-know-what.

With the advent of HV systems and common use of BEC units it would make sense.

Either a lead or a plug on the BEC board, or input wires sounds like a good idea to me.

How about a switching BEC built into the ESC? Couldn't the processor sense the voltage and control the switching (step down) FET.

A HV BEC in the ESC would be great, but as big as the ESC (based on the UBEC size)

It may be an RFI source too, but I am no expert.

With a lead or plug, we could use a BEC or a Battery easily.

But if CC can give us a BEC in the ESC handling 24 plus cells, lets do it!!
