CD-Rom motor for sale
20 turns of 26g wire in star wind, weighs 33 grams. Made up the mount and the bearing tube from aluminum and used the original cdrom 3mm shaft for the prop shaft, just had to take a dremel to it while it was spinning so I could put a c-clip on the back of it.
It turns a 6.5x5 prop at around 6 amps on a 3s lipo pack. It has 12 N45 magnets glued in to replace the stock weak magnet.
Requires a 3mm prop adapter.
$30 shipped in the US
