Could this be the smallest colour camera and Tx?

Hi all,

I saw this advert in a local electronics magazine, I cant beleive the size of it for what it is, just amazing.
The price is in Australian dollars, which is about $300 US dollars.
It uses the PAL format, but there would have to be an NTSC version available somewhere for you US guys.
The Tx range is a tad limited, but probably just the right thing for an indoor slowflier.

Advert for Dick Smith electronics.

This is approx. lifesize for 15" 1024x768 monitor

This is approx. lifesize for 15" 800x600 monitor

Sorry for the quality of the pic's, but you get that when scanning halftone from printed material(you can see the print on the reverse side of the page too :/ ). Dots dont like being scanned by dots

petn7, as much as I would like one, I cant afford one so havent tried it, I just saw the advert and thought I would let e-fliers know about it, I have no idea how well they work, sorry.

I did a search on http://www.google.com for "Swann Microcam" and found heaps of sites with info, and it appears there are NTSC versions (250k pixels though, not the 365k that PAL has), my guestimate of $300 US was about right too.
I also found a PDF file from the makers with a little more info than the above ad has http://www.swann.com.au/pdfs/microcam.pdf

b/c it is cmos technology and not ccd, i'm guessing it's low light capability will be about 1.0 lux, not great for all indoor applications.

I was looking around earlier today and found the following:
http://www.microcameras.com/wirelesscamera.htm

Not sure of the pixel resolution (320 tv lines) and it is cmos, but range is a little greater, and cost is a bit lower ($200 for color). 1" x 0.7" x 0.6"
