3 Axis Brushless Gimbal for NEX from DYS

Good news to share with my all friends:

DYS upgraded the 2 axis NEX gimbal to 3 axis, just released 3 axis brushless gimbal for NEX camera, and we change the idea to make this one to 3 axis, then help the photographer have more direction selection during aerial photo.

Welcome to access: www.dys.hk

Below is the link of DYS 2 axis NEX gimbal:

just try:

www. dys.hk

i ordered by email and paid paypal.

questions were answered by yenny ,
shipping was postponed for a week ,
package then arrived fast by ems and in good order with a proper customs declaration and thus no customs fuzz.

no time to build it yet , maybe this weekend...

cheers

well,

static tests look good,

itīs my first 3rd axis rig and i like it, very simple and about half the size of my rusty gimbal.

will build the ship to carry it tomorrow then weīl see how it works in flight.

pending ferrites and sensor calibration still it took me about half the time i needed on the rusty gimbal to get the shakes out.

testing:

follow mode is pretty simple and works great,

had to change sensor and didnīt do the calibration too well,

still 3rd axis is super easy to implement so far , hardest to tune is roll,

battery change and card swap is doable without going out of balance , the pitch balance is more flexible than it loooks, still i wasnīt able to balance the 18-55 .

this was pointed out in another thread , no idea how heavy your canon glass is but one of my pics shows the maximum rearwrd position of the slider.

vid is nowhere near perfect but i posted a few secs anyways to show how far i came in about an hour and a half.

dys 3axis nex5 16mm (0 min 31 sec)

I've got mine built. I'm planning on using it with an eos m and it was very easy to get it balanced. Just waiting for the controller to turn up
