You mean, "are there any of those in production currently"

Or is your question "does anybody have (a used) one for sale"?

Answer to first question: Vario of Germany has a SkyFox version suitable for a 27 cc OS Boxer twin.
That is a glow engine, but fourstroke.
They also had, in the grey past, a SkyFox suitable for an OS 15 cc single cylinder fourstroke glow engine.

Other than those I do not know of helicopters specifically designed for fourstroke engines.

Gassers however, are plenty and diverse.

To my knowledge, there are currently no 4-stroke gasser helicopters in production.
But that does not mean a thing, as my knowledge is by far not including every make and model, so I hope somebody else can answer your question more conclusively

Four stroke glow, I allready told you.

Gasolien 2-stroke, there are literally too many manufacturers that make good examples of these, to mention them all.

Virtually all leading brands have helicopters in heir program, either directly suitable for 2-stroke gasoline, or for which a conversion kit is availlable.

Nowadays, OS even has a 15 cc gasser engine based on a glow design, suitable to use in most 90 size Nitro heli's. As far as I know, this engine is a good runner.

I know of at least one case of someone fitting an NGH 17 cc gasser in a 90 size heli ( I was not really impressed by the running behaviour, but OK) and several people have converted glow engines to run on gasoline, with varying degrees of succes.

There are many helicpters, designed to run a Zenoah, and most of them are good.

So I'd say: Surf the WWW, and take your pick!

The gas engines - are they specifically made for helis? or are they plane engines with adaptors?

Thanks

The OS GT 15 is specifically designed for helicopter use.

The NGH is a plane engine, you have to make it fit a helicopter yourself (but what I have seen, I would not want to go that way).

The Zenoah's, well they are still the same modified weedwhacker motors you will also find in big scale cars and other big models, but they do a good job in helicopters as well.

The ones you can buy through Vario in Germany are expensive, but they are balanced better, and they have a non-standard carb that is optimised for "constant RPM/variable load", the operational condition that in the RC domain is exclusively found in helicopters. They are in this version optimised for 10-11 kRPM.
IMHO they are very much worth the extra money, especially if you plan to fly big scalers.

Well, I guess I'll go the OS or possibly the NGH route. Just want a gas heli to fly around and maybe 3d.

Thanks.

Better forget the NGH.... apart from being Chinese (which is not exactly a guarantee for consistent quality) the cooling (finned area) is not calculated/designed for helicopter use, and because you have to modify the shaft to accept a flywheel and clutch the engine as a package becomes too long, and the carb is absolutely not suitable for the heavy load changes that occur in 3D.
And I doubt, it even comes close to the power needed.

For you the OS is the only way, if you want a "glow style" helicopter.

Otherwise you have to go the Century-route.

Yea. So OS.

Century is out of the question. Just dont feel like spending that much on it since I wont be flying scale.
