Parkflier links Index

Hello folks.
There are so many great threads and personal sites out there that most people never see but that everybody could benefit from. I find these new goldmines every once in a while. So I want to start a thread where all of the great threads useful to parkie flyers are listed, so we can all be on the same page, just like they did on the Indoor forum.
I'll start off with a few, so if you guys know of a few worthy of nomination then please PM me or send an email at penguin53@yahoo, that way we can keep this thread clean.
Note:
Please, no professional or any commertial sites. There is a special thread for all the commertial sites to be found listed together. For this, please see the third link under Misc.

I'm unlocking this thread as I didn't realize locking it down stopped Michael from editing his links list. Please keep any chatter in this thread to a minimum aside from suggested links to be added.

Thanks!

Mark,
Sorry but I would rather not add that; there are tons of great stores out there and adding only one store would be unfair, adding them all would be too much. Plus, somebody has already created a seperate thread for this, if you can please post www.tedani.com there that would be great. It is the second link in the Miscellaneous section down below.
Thanks!

More Free Plans...

Some of You builders out there may appreciate Derrek Buckmasters' free plans. He has CAD designed MANY planes for electric & rubber Free-flight, but almost all of them can be easily converted to 3-4-5 channel micro R/C.
All the planes are native to Ausrtrailia (where he lives) and all are VERY nicely designed and print out actual size in overlapping sheets on A4 or letter paper (a download for each)
He has a CA-15 Kangaroo fighter that looks like a Mustang on crack that is perfect "as-is" for IPS or 280.. and aGAF N-22 Nomad twin (Like a Dehavilland Twin otter) not to mention 10 or so more...ALL scale! PLUS he has links to other free plans sites all over the globe.
If his scedule permits, he will enlarge them to print out apon request.
He had enlarged the Nomad and the Kangaroo for Me a while back, and had placed them on his site, but I don't see them now... Anyways,.. he's a GREAT guy,and will help you out all he can on a project. Bob

Step-by-Step article for making printwood copys

If you do like to build, here's a thread I did on tranferring your printed paper parts DIRECTLY to your wood,NO pasting, careful cutting, gummy residue on your wood, leftover paper, etc... takes about 5 minutes, very accurate, & in My humble opinion, can't be beat! Bob

I've just flown the Soarstar after flying the GWS tigermoth for a season. If you are a beginning R/C flier go with the Soarstar , it is easy to build and very easy to fly. I give it four stars out of four.

Wind Forecast Site

Here is a website that is a must for Parkflyers. It has a really neat graphical representation of weather condition forecasts including wind speed and direction. I find it to be fairly accurate in predicting wind conditions within a 24 hour window. Go to this website select your region (State), select GET LOCATIONS and then choose your city and weather station.
