So who will be the first to cry that this is a copy of the Schubeler? or was Daniel involved in the design of this fan?

It doesn't need a Pletti but Tango aren't that much cheaper. Based on the Tango 45-08 data the have on the site, it's turning 22,400RPM at 30V input and 45A. 45A is already the current limit of that motor. I don't know why the chart goes up to 55A.
The fan still takes a lot of torque to turn. I don't think two pole motors will work in it. The larger Lehners might, if they fit. Greg |
