Sounds good, wonder when it will be available? Aeronaut generally releases info long before the products hit the shelves.

So who will be the first to cry that this is a copy of the Schubeler? or was Daniel involved in the design of this fan?

I'm not crying, the only similarity is the CF material used.

Nice to have a whole big EDF kit on the market that is not married to the HP hunk of gold motor.... which I'm still waiting for BTW.

I'm getting this thing for sure after Florida jets and flying formation with Herb!

It doesn't need a Pletti but Tango aren't that much cheaper. Based on the Tango 45-08 data the have on the site, it's turning 22,400RPM at 30V input and 45A. 45A is already the current limit of that motor. I don't know why the chart goes up to 55A.

The fan still takes a lot of torque to turn. I don't think two pole motors will work in it. The larger Lehners might, if they fit.

Hi. does anyone have an idea on how much this fan will go for? I hope aeronaut's fan is not as ridiculously priced as schubeler. I can't believe that there isn't a fan out there that can put out 6 to 7 lb under $200. Wow, we can put a man on the moon, and a probe on mars, but we can't build a inexpensive powerful ducted fan...lol

wow the 750! Now that's more like it! thanks herb!!! I have been trying to talk to locate you and chat with you. I have been told by few members that you are a guru when it comes to setting up the wemotech fans. I want to start a new project but having a hard time deciding witch is the best fan to use. I would like to build a multi fan jet like the b1b or b-58. but when I do the math the weight goes through the roof. I could use the 750
