Piper Pawnee

Hello Everyone,
I've just got into computing...Well better late than never. As
a result I've only just found this newsgroup...So sorry if this
question has been asked before.
The question is...Who makes kits for a radio control Piper Pawnee.
I heard that Kyosho made a 70 inch wingspan model, but there's
nothing about it on their web-site that I can see.
Failing that, are there any decent plans available.
Thanks
Rods.

Re: Piper Pawnee

Kyosho produces (ed) a Cessna 188 Agwagon ARF but no Piper Pawnee. The kit
was marketed through Tower Hobbies. The plane has a wingspan of 68.9 inches
and is designed for a .40.-46 2s engine. It was priced at $250 US in their
2002 catalogue. An unbelievable wing loading of 10.8 oz./square foot. Not
sure if this kit is still around but this is as close as you'll get. Search
the web under Piper Pawnee/ RC model and you'll see kit bashers who have
modified the Sig 4 Star 60 to resemble the Pawnee.

Re: Piper Pawnee

Hmmm...

I will have to check to make sure, but I think I have a White Wings Pawnee
kit in the attic. I recall it is a White Wings kit and a low wing ag bird.
I will let you know tomorrow or the next day.
