Adrenalin Rush

Here is my adrenalin Rush from Stevens Aeromodels, A glitch in the radio system broke it up a bit but was repaired and flying again. I am thinking of upgrading to a brushless motor. This was a great quality kit for the price, a fun and quick build!

wow that is very cool, so are you flying that with elevons and no elevator?

I'd like to get this kit but its not the right size for me. It'd be awesome if they could do a 40" span version to get to real speeds. I have a foam wing, 30" span exact same shape wing and I plan to use it to make a little pylon racer same type as this, you don't see many of them around like that and I think it is a very good design.

Adrenalin Rush

Hi Edwong, this plane uses ailerons and elevator, I included a better pic. For racing they suggest to run only one aileron. With the brushed (inexpensive) GWS EDP-50XC set up it is good for 40mph if you build it light and clean. The Feigao 36Turn 4100kv set up is supposed to be good for over 65mph and the Medusa 5300kv Motor should be good to over 85mph. The plane was a fun and simple build. They call it the "Pinewood Derby Car" of R/C airplanes. I am also using it to test the power setup for my Radical RC Das Mini Low Stick.

I still have the original WindBuster from Brad (AIR MOVER) with custom brushless outrunner running GWS 4x4 cut to 3.5. I used to run it on 3s LiPo but I found that I should have run it on good quality 2s. If I run it on 2s 2100mAh 15C pack the motor takes 8.9A and turns 21500rpm. But when I run it on my old 3s LiPo the voltage sagged and I am not getting that much rpm (the current is around 7-8A) . So I need good 2s LiPo that can handle 9A without dropping the voltage below 7V. Any suggestions?

I used to fly this pllane over 60mph but now I want more

BTW Brad's original idea for elevator servo position gives much cleaner plane.
