Multiplex royal EVO DLG programming

Anybody got a direct link to Mark`s royal evo DLG program? I spent a long while searching for it with no luck. Found lots of full house info but need specific DLG mixes
Thanks

I think I have it stashed someplace. Good place to start, but I'm running a setup that Charlie Morris walked me thru, and it's really nice.

I'd recommend it. Let me know if you want one or both.

Are you an experienced Evo Programmer, or just starting?

Hi Gary. I guess you could call me a returning evo user. I never did get a full grasp on the programming but I managed to copy marks program into the radio in the past by mimicking his numbers in each menu.
Somewhere on the forum Mark had listed all his setting.
Ideally I would like Mark`s

Thanks

I'd be interested in taking a look at Charlie's setup. Thanks.

Okay, I'll have to look for Mark's, be a while, have no idea of where I might have stashed it.

Not quite certain how to do this, I'll start by describing the capabilities of what I'm using. While Charlie was good enough to sit down with me and work this out, it's somewhat different than his, because he flies a different mode. And for all I remember, I might have done some "creative" stuff a well. So hold me responsible, not Charlie.

Basic set up: I'll define what it does, and then get into how it does it.

Controls and Switches:

3 flap settings, Speed, Cruise, Thermal, off of a three position switch. Elevator mixing.
Additional flap setting, Launch, off the other three position switch. Overrides the normal settings. This setting controls launch trajectory after plane has rotated.
Momentary button controls launch rotation. Provides elevator and sometime flap control to rotate the plane. Mixing available on control surfaces
Momentary button control "push over" Can drop flaps and provide down elevator at top of climb (seldom used)
Landing flaps: Control is throttle stick, after being moved past the midpoint. Elevator compensation as flap goes down
Slider that can vary flap setting
Slider that can vary elevator setting

There are 4 flight phases, each has trim mixing available.
Dual rates are on a switch

Those are the basic capabilities, as I remember them.

Any questions? I'll see if I can take readable pictures of the screens, if that would be the best way to describe the set up.

Have you looked at Joedy's tutorial on the EVO? I seem to remember that Mark posted his set up as part of that.

That sounds awful familiar . I will scout around in that thread.

The points that interested me with Mark`s post was mainly the mix`s . I can always adjust/assign then to switches as such.

I used Drela`s program as more of a template. I been playing around with the 4-flap template but it gets confusing .
Thanks

Thanks for the effort. Mark`s post is almost identical but for multiplex royal evo. Your post is for Airtronics.

Hi Jeff,
I had Mark's program in my Evo for a season or two and it worked well. The only problem I found was that trim settings were global in all flight phases. RCPC helped me with a program that utilizes true flight phases and provides individual trim settings in all phases.

I have this program on a spread sheet written in a logic similar to the Evo programming steps and would be happy to send it to you. Just send me a PM with your e-mail address and I can forward the attachment to you (I don't have a pdf copy or I would attach it here).

Very happy owner of two Evo 9 tx

Craig,

I'd be interested in it as well.

I think I'm using more mixes and controls than Mark, but it's a really good starting spot.

PM sent Craig and thanks again.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread. I been pulling my hair out but learning this amazing radio. I have patients to burn when it comes to building but I must admit there is nothing I enjoy about programming radios. Must be a age thing I guess.

I'm about ready to post my setup, in the same format as posted by GoFaster. Any problem with doing that?

Go ahead Gary. If you noticed I changed the thread title for future EVO search references.
