Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian

Well xmech inspired me with his Fed Ex version of this plane. I'm strictly into floaters and don't know if Fed Ex does any water landings or not, so did a passenger version.--- Jim

Thanks guys.
Thomas the basic specs are here on the Bovine web page. http://www.bovineaeroworks.com/bovine_aero_006.htm

If you haven't seen it exmech has the Fed Ex version posted on here as well. Look for his aka or BAW 38 ep Caravan Build.

Using the 350C motor, 9.6V NiMh 800 mAh battery, sub micro servos, Castle Creations 20p ESC, GWS JR 4 chnl rX, 9070 3 blade prop for an initial test, but water around here won't open until April and FoamFloats 22" from Manta Plane.---Jim

It does not have ailerons at the moment, but have been giving it thought. I have kept the deihedral down to around 5*, which may make it a little harder to turn. Time will tell.

IASledder: You should have no problem turning with 5* of dihedral.

The Beaver has been crashed so many times from my great flying skills it's starting to look like the looser from a dogfight. Especially now that I'm flying off of ice, much more hazardous to it's health than a water crash. By the way as you may have noticed, my AOT on the Cessna is too great. Got that corrected. While at it measured the actual wing dihedral, 7.5*.
