Crunchy Slope Racing In SoCal This Weekend!!

In a change to the SCSR/ASRO schedule, we will have a slope race for Unlimited and 60 in, crunchie racers this Sunday at Whitaker Peak. I would like everyone there by 11AM as there is a lot of set-up and matrix work to do before we race.

This time, we start with the Unlimited planes first, then the 60s as time and wind permit. The CD (me) reserves the riught to change all this depending on conditions

Anyone needing directions is advised to visit the ASRO site.

I will be consulting the weather tea leaves all week on the internet and will advise by 6PM on Saturday if there is a change by posting a notice on the SCSR site in YahooGroups.

www.asro.org or www.sloperacing.com will take to ASRO's website. Whitaker is just north of Magic Mountain/Castaic Lake area, off the Templin Hwy and the 5. There are detailed instructions on how to get there on the ASRO site.

Advice: Bring water because it's remote, but not hot. Bring bug spray because it's sort of the wet season and a lot of plant growth sometimes brings bugs.

Regards,
