Question
Pro-jet twin 70mm glass F4 Phantom???

Hey now,
So I just recieved a ProJet twin 70mm F4 Phantom ARF.
I know nothing about this model other than the glass work looks pretty good and it's kind of big. Do these fly well or will it become a hanger queen?
What's a good set up? Cell count? Servos?
I was thinking of going with the Mach aluminum fans if I can come up with the scratch. I'd like any suggestions, ideas, advice, and/or history of the kit.
Did I luck into something nifty here? I'm tired of 70mm foamies. I want glass and don't want to go bigger than 70 mm fans the costs get out of hand way too fast.

Keep the cell count low and the power system weight low, wing area isn't too much bigger than some single 70s

pm me for 13 oz twin power system that'll do around 8lbs of static thrust on bench on single 5s 4000mah pack

Would love to hear about this and any other insight you may have as I just picked up a Projet F4 kit at an auction.
Thanks,
Dean

Being a F-4 Fanatic myself, I looked into purchasing one myself, and these were my thoughts: A) Nice looking Jet. Fiberglass fuse/Built up wings. B) Twin 70mm on 6S. Looked a little HEAVY for twin 70's. C)Video's of Flight tests showed I was correct in that assumption. Overall; Plane needs MORE Power for basic flight. Due to overall weight of Jet, must use flaps, and ALL of one's experience , to land it safely, without too much damage. I passed on this one....and I own 3, F-4 models

Interesting for sure....I saw all the videos, of course after I bought the kit....what about making it as light as possible. Skip the retracts, maybe go 4s ??.....Those jets in the video were 8.5 - 9 lbs.
What a great looking kit though....the whole reason I purchased....
