Just bought my cam, but have Questions
So I just picked up a Largan L330 3.4mp CCD w/ 6.6 interpolated mode for $120 @ Fry's
Here's the weight info minus 2 AA batteries and SD card 138 gram = 4.8678067 ounce Dimensions are 3.99" (W) x 2.17" (H) x 1.44" (D) What powerplant, prop, battery (Lipoly), and ESC do you guys recommend? I would like it to fly very smoothly and still maintain good slow speed characteristics. Thanks for the help, phuzzy3d |

Well my camera doesn't have a wing
 I was going to use a Slow Stick, sorry if I didn't mention this. I'm up for buying a brushless motor that $80 or cheaper using lipolys for juice. I'm guessing my takeoff weight will fall around 25 ounces. Will I need a wing support like the one you have illustrated in another thread Bar-Stool? Thanks for the help.

Wing support would be a good idea for that much weight. An alternative to the compression strut is flying wires attached to (and across) the landing gear. I believe JMH is using flying wires if you want to have a search for it.
Brushless options are Razor (use the GWS gearbox/pinion), MiniAC 1215/16 (will need to drill pinion or use aftermarket GB), Astro 010, or a PJS-5xx, -800, or Nippy Black 1812/100. The last few are outrunners, no gearbox required. The Astro is probably the wimpiest of the bunch, but it doesn't need as big a battery, so it may yet work out. The others will give ~ 1:1 thrust/weight. Figure $70-90 for the motor alone. Brushless ESC/BEC will run an additional $70 or so. Full throttle draw will be up to or over 18 amps depending on gearing, prop, and number of lipo cells, so a 2100 or 2p 1500 might be needed. Karl |

I just picked up my Slow Stick (backordered) and a 2cell eTech 1200mah pack. The hobby shop has a Mini 1216 brushless for sale. If I was to get this what GB and Prop would be recommended? Thanks Again
