Easy Built Models P-51 Mustang B laser cutt
Here are a few pics of my Easy built models Mustang. I have completed all the parts of the kit. Next few steps for me will be to mount electronics, and beaf up the wings abit. The power planet will be a IPS S2. Battery will be etec 2s1p 700 or a 2s1p 250. I am hoping for a all up weight of under 5 oz. I am really happy with the quality of the wood in this kit. Well worth the cheap price of the kit.

Hi,
i know that thread is really old, but maybe Gonzo is still active?! Do you know, whether one needs aileron for that plane? I also have it here and will build it up this winter, but because of the weight and they way the wing is constructed i plan to use just rudder/ elevator. What do You think about it? How does your model fly now, du you have vids/ pics? Greets |

Easy Built is still around (do a web search), they are best known for free flight kits. They had a line of electric R/C kits back in the early 1990's but I think they have gotten out of the R/C kit business and now just do free flight. I have one of their electric Hawker Hurricanes, much bigger than the one in this thread (which looks like a free flight conversion). Barely flew on the stock setup, would probably be nice on modern LiPos. Some of thier older kits were, shall we say, "builder's kits", i.e., you had to cut out the parts yourself from printed-on outlines. Hence the question about whether it was a laser-cut kit.

Here you go http://www.easybuiltmodels.com/ The wood quality is pretty decent in their kits ( all printwood ) though they have been re-doing some as laser cut . Built their Westland Lysander last year and suffered a poor maiden due to wing twist  A friend built that little Mustang a while back and it flew like it was on rails with a "Little Screamer" motor .
