The New Turnigy 3D-H Flybarless System V1/V2

Guys there seems to be a New FBL system from Turnigy

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ol_System.html

The all new Turnigy 3D-H FBL System is breaking all of the rules by offering top-notch performance at an unbelievably low price. Affordability, ease of use and compatible with any helicopter from 250~800 size, the 3D-H makes going flybarless on your machine a no-brainer!

The 3D-H supports just about any servo type, digital or analog, standard or narrow pulse width. Compatible with 90/120/140 swashplates and featuring excellent pirouette optimization functionality, the 3D-H ticks all of the right boxes!

We've flown the 3D-H on our own helis and we are very impressed with its performance and ease of setup. It didn't take long at all to have our HK450 in the air with this system. All programming is done via the transmitter sticks and confirmed by LEDs on the control unit. This keeps things simple and eliminates the need for bringing a PC to the field should you need to make adjustments.

There are 3 adjustable potentiometers on the top of the 3D-H that allow quick adjustments for fine tuning. You can adjust the cyclic gain, cyclic response and tail dynamic (stopping power) by simply turning the pots. This furthermore simplifies setup by allowing for quick and easy fine tuning at the field.

Features:
• High performance 3-axis FBL system
• Compatible with 250~800 size helicopters
• Pirouette optimization functionality
• 90/120/140 swashplate support
• Aluminium case to reduce vibration
• Easy to setup

Specs:
Size: 36.5x26x14mm
Weight: 23.8g (without wires)
Operating Voltage: 3.5~8.5V
Sensor Technology: MEMS angular rate sensors
Cyclic Servo Type: Digital or Analog 50Hz/65Hz/120Hz/200Hz
Tail Servo Type: Digital or Analog 960us/760us/1520us
Adjustable Cyclic Servo Frequency: 50Hz/65Hz/120Hz/200Hz
Adjustable Tail Servo Frequency: 50Hz/165Hz/270Hz/333Hz

Included in box:
Turnigy 3D-H 3-Axis Flybarless System
Gyro mounting pads
All necessary wire leads

Price: $49.99

I'll only be in on it if the firmware is upgradeable and if it's under $50 shipped!

With that much FBL systems releasing everyday, it's the only way HK can compete with them. Their products have to be better and cheaper to win their customers! Take for example the Tarot ZYX-S it's $50, it's gotta be cheaper than that, otherwise what's the point??

jombo, it's the bigaole flybarless clone. It looks soo similar to it!

if this 3d-h can perform like the bigaole flybarless. and it's under $50 shipped. It would be just right!

I like what I see with the bigaole vids.

We need to see the specs of this 3d-h gyro, only then we can really tell if it's an exact clone

Not bad , Not bad at all for 49.00. So I think Pitchp should test it out for us , Since he is the only one who hasn't tried one yet

The only thing that concerns me is the lack of computer support programing . It is all done by the sticks . But that shouldn't be too hard just different to do as the lights would tell you what step your on .

Pitchp , this one is for you

Geez, I already have three FBL units and none mounted in helis yet! An Align 3G, a 3GX, a Tarot ZYX-S. Even the Align 3G upgraded to newest firmware should be good for a scale flyer I am told. I don't even know what to mount in which heli! I have an HK450 FBL that I was going to use with the the ZYX and I was going to put the 3GX in my HK550 since that's my best FBL unit. Now I'm hearing this one is a microbeast V1? And some have said the firmware can be upgraded?
