Good choice by the looks of it! I bet quality will not be an issue.
I really like the design. Its a bit more conventional compared to the warp360 but somehow i like the Gaui better. I think due to the battery placement.
The TT does seem correctly engineered. i'm more of a belt-guy but i would not hesitate to give this a try. The tail slider should work really well.

I already got a mini-Protos as a upgrade from the trex style 450, otherwise this heli would be #1 on the "to get" list.

Any word out for prices of the kit?

Here is the spec and main blade is 325mm. Also, main shaft is 6mm, spindle shaft 5mm, tail shaft is 4mm, different from traditional 450. also, it has 3 holes on pitch control arm,..

Really nice heli from what I can see. A couple of upgrades would be a CF tail pushrod and turnbuckle pitch pushrods. I don't like the little circlip you need for the battery tray locking. Hopefully someone will come up with a better method.

Nice features are the slide in battery, slant main gear, good space for Rx/FBL unit, three bearing main, all shafts are oversized, micro or mini tail servo and the tail control assembly, which should be near slop free, but I'm not sure if I like the idea of threads in the tail pitch slider pulley.

I also hope it has thrust bearings in the tail.

Some good pictures here:

Oooopppsss.... My bad .

I seem to have X4II on the brain lately.

Thanks for the pics Bflying..I think as time goes on i will be buying Gaui over Align. Aligns quality is good. But the step up to a " bit" better is welcomed in Gaui.

Also looks as if the "long" 6s 1300mah paks will fit, Yes ?

It looks like the X3 is going to have mini servos on cyclic:

GAUI X3 prototype testing. Team GAUI Alvin Chai. (2 min 36 sec)
