Sold
Aquacopter Waterproof Quadcopter

I'm selling my Aquaquad copter because, well, I live in the desert and there's not many bodies of water to play with this in so why not let someone else enjoy it that can make good use out of it.

It comes with Exceed Rocket 2216 1050kv motors, Crius Lite Multiwii controller, power distribution board (which doubles as the battery mount), and a set of 9" Gemfan props. What's not includedL ESCs, Rx, batteries.

The motor wires have 2mm bullet conectors installed. They enter the arms through grommets to protect them from chafing against the plastic. I replaced the stock thumb screws with nylon screws and wing nuts. This makes pulling the lid off much, much faster. It also includes the original foam seals for the motors and lid. The FC is mounted to the lid to make space for the battery, which sits on top of the distro board. Asking $200 (PayPal preferred) shipped in the Continental US (lower 48). I prefer to ship in the US for ease of shipment. I can ship international, but buyer covers all shipping costs via US Postal (no insurance).

edit: If desired, I can install a set of Multistar 15A ESCs, either with stock or SimonK firmware. All you'd need to do is add your Rx and battery and fly. That's $100 less than the similar RTF ready one new..plus you're getting a flight controller with this one!!!

As you can see in the photos this is like new. It's been flown a couple of times from a grass field. As you can see in the pictures, it's not been used and abused. Thanks for looking.

Yep, the wiring is insulated, so there's not contact between them...thus no shorts. Even brushed motors will run undewater. That's how I use to break in the brushes on the non-bearinged can motors.

edit: I added an option of adding ESCs (see first post) so all you'd need is your Rx and battery.

Lol Van, you bought a waterproof quad living in the desert. Can't blame you, I saw the demo videos and was blown away. GL on the sale. Its a beast so it should go quickly.

Just out of curiousity, how much would postage to Australia be? I'd love to fly this over the local lake.

It looks like international postage would be in the US$55+/- range...delivery time ~10 business days.

I received several requests for the frame only. I prefer to seel as advertised as I've got no other immediate us for the motors and FC at this time. I will entertain frame only offers, but will wait a few days to see if anyone is interested in the full kit w/wo ESCs.
