its freezing cold outside and I just got sumfin in the mail from NESail.

Its the Free Air Extra 3D Adrenaline, an EPP 3d plane.

I picked mine up right after christmas with some "extra model airplane funds i got for christmas". It was on sale at nesail with a Rotex 25/6/15 brushless motor.

Because of the weather, I'm hoping to stay in and build this today. I was hoping someone out there might have one already built and post some pics. The instructions are a bit weak (one page front and back of illustrations). One of my few probs with the instructions is that in one critical area...mounting the stab, I can't see the dimensions that are written on there. If there is anyone out there...Sal from nesail maybe? that has this info, can you plase post it? Its the distance from the center of the stab "axle" to the rear end of the fuse that I need. (actually i might also need the distance of this axle center from the leading edge of the stab...otherwise I'm saying..center of stab?)

Anyway everything arrived in great shape, it seems like a good quality kit...I'm looking forward to building and flying it.

Not realy... You gotta think that most of these kits are made by hand by one person. No mass production... It takes A LOT of time to put a kit together... That carbon landing gear is probably hand made one at a time too... Time is $$$$ If the kitter doesn't charge a decent amount for the kit, it's not worth the time and bother of kitting. We are realy spoiled sometimes with the cheap kits that are out there. However, you gotta support the "little guy" too. Otherwise, no more "cutting edge" stuff... My 2 cents...

I think teamsme meant that nesail has the plane for $69, so soaring is overcharging because they have the same product for $89.

I had all the other stuff in the "combo" i bought just the kit and motor...a different combo that was on sale for a "nice" price.
I plan on using the following equipment:

4 pico bb servos
castle creations phoenix 10
3s 1200mah etec lipoly batts

prop saver?/adaptor?...DNA has a nice suggestion...on how to make a prop saver in another thread called DIY Rotex prop saver..
I dug around an I can't find a collar like he used...arghhh
the pic on the box seems to have the prop mounted right onto the motor....hmmm

I plan on using a micro antenna...azarr or litenna still haven't made up my mind...
i have several gws pico r4ps....but...they can't let me get flaperon/elevator mix...unless i hack one...i might...
otherwise its m5 or berg 5 dsp

any1 know who has a berg5 and azarr antenna? that way i don't have to ship from different places...

I'm stuck at the alignment..gluing wing/flying stab on and aligning them..i hate this part because....if i mess it up my plane will fly like...well..u know what...
I need to make a jig or something to keep things straight as the glue dries

do you have larger plans that have readable dimensions?
can't read the dimensions off the 1 page instructions...
when mine copied the size of the printlines are larger than the letters...all i see is a black spot that looks like it used to be a number.
anyway....tips or pictures of how wires/pushrods are routed, parts aligned such as the flying stab would be really appreciated.
