So what do you use?

It's about knowing the tools and how to use it. It's pretty easy to use, free and a lot of people using it. What's wrong with it? I used to use Protel, Auto Track, then Express PCB, but now I'm settled with Eagle .

Look at this and see this man writing scripts that reads the Intel first CPU schematic in bitmap and make an Ealge schematic for it. http://insanity4004.blogspot.com/201...chematics.html. He builds the Intel 4004 CPU out of discreet FETs using it.

I heard back from my PCB maker, the Gerber files are fine- the drills file is EvvGC v1.2.TXT There is one thing we need to chenage- the drills file is currently in 2:3 format, but they require it to be 2:4.

You can see where to set it in this NC Drill Setup dialog: http://wiki.altium.com/display/ADOH/...Output+Options

Could you do one more export that way for us?

Subscribing, looks like a very promising 3-axis setup. Look forward to seeing someone offer these for sale.

Hello evvaldis,

is it possible to get a complete list of parts for assembly?

Thanks in advance. You make a great job to realize the first 3 axis controller for everyone....

Thanks for posting the drills files- the English 2:4 one was the one I needed.
I ordered some boards and will post here when they are done, in case others want some.

Now we need a list of the required components.

OSH Park ships world wide, not sure what the turnaround time will be. Here's the v1.2 gerbers that are compatible with their system.

I have ordered 3.......thank you....

@evvaldis: the part list is a little bit difficult to order, maybe is it possible to generate a shopping cart at farnell.com?

Anything else? Do you want your food on a plate and chewed and placed into your mouth? Be happy the information is provided at all, make your own shopping cart at farnell and post it here.

Or just buy a *** ******* if you want instant gratification.
