Chandler Bowl Channels Used

Attention Chandler Bowl Flyers:

Last Edit: Jan. 12, 2004

The attached picture shows the "registered" channels that are being used by the regular flyers.

New flyers at the Bowl should pick channels that are unutilized.

We have a lot of people going out to the CB these days. Be careful with your Tx and make sure there is no frequency conflict before powering on!

The Excel File which contains the listing of CB flyers can be downloaded at:

http://www.azastro.rchomepage.com/Download/

Just right-click on CB - Channels Used.xls and download it to your PC.

Great job, Jim!

Maybe we can get this distributed (with regular feedback from and updates to) the hobby stores that surround the CB (Adventure.., ..Town (both), ..Depot, D&D, etc.).

(BTW, there are no channels numbered 1-10 in this band!)

Fly:

I know that channels 1-10 are from a different band (Channels 1-6 are 27 mhz, I believe) but don't the Firebirds/Aerobirds etc use these channels? May be worth collecting the data so I thought I'd leave them in.

I would think that once we have a pretty good idea of the channels used that it would be worthwhile to pass the info to Adventure and Hobbytown.

And incidently, I put this chart on its own thread so that I can update it and people can still find it on the first page of the thread. I really didn't want to see it buried in the middle of the Chandler Bowl V2 thread. FWIW.

Great job Jim! You can update me as not using channel 22 anymore. I can't find the crystal! I think I sold it with the Eclipse.

Hey Jim, do you know who the other person on 46 is besides (Turbo) Joe and I?

Forgot to say- Thanks a ton for doing this for us, it's really appreciated. Let me know if you need webspace to host a big space, or even a website for it (I have www.Chandlerbowl.cjb.net reserved.)

I just bought an Electron 6 from E-Zone and it got here today. He left the channel 38 crystal in it. I thought cool, I'll give it to the guy I'm getting into R/C. He just bought his Slow Stick and flight pack at D&D yesterday. I looked at the chart and OOPS! Already 4 people on that channel. Oh well, I tried.
