Sherlock, show the pic of you with it in front of your house...I am going to save that pic...

BTW, keep it edf so we can track progress....

2 x haoye 127s, 2 x suppo 910kvs, 2 x suppo 200 amp escs

on 2 x 6s 5500 watts total (bridge the escs) around 21lbs of thrust altogether at around 3.6 a cell...should push the 23lb AUW plane around pretty good without you having to buy more packs

wont bust the wallet and can be got from HK next week so you're not waiting around to get this thing in the air

come on dude...keep the trons here!

Byron F15 is a huge pig with a ton of drag. While yes it will fly EDF it wont fly long or well. Even the 2 that XPS flew didn't fly long and had no vertical at all. But since Shelrocks planes only fly once keep it electric

if ii remember correctly, it was about 45 lbs. theres no way on the plannet its going to weigh anywhere near 23lbs lol

my T-38 carrys 12lbs of battery, 6-7lbs of fans motors and esc's. so theres almost 20 lbs of power system alone for something like a byron f-15. yeah, xps's f-15 was pretty slow. its a draggy airframe, but has a very light wing loading, and they look really easy to fly.

I would go with electric Byron fans. Hacker A50-10L Turnado put out more thrust than the OS91 version did. Putting the same system in my Byron 1/3 scale BD-5J.

Yeap, would be fairly light and give good thrust...

Looks like the empty weight with gear, servos etc is around 19lbs less the turbine tanks.

Should be possible...might flight slow but it'll fly

Pic of the plane
