Just observed a posting up in Facebook of an announcement that Flyzone will be releasing a new line of RC Airplane models known as Aircore, a modular series of models and a few are warbirds.

Finally found a web site (German?) that shows the wind span on these Warbird models and it seems like the Mustang and Bf-109 are 550mm or 55cm which equates to almost 22 inch wind span so, they are in the middle of a micro and typical Park Flyer, or to some might be considered the smaller size of a Park Flyer.

http://www.der-schweighofer.at/artik...550_mm_aircore

According to all the pictures so far, the wings do not have the typical under-camber of Micros that I am used to seeing.

Nope, seems like a "New" smaller size version.

Welcomed and I had the same thoughts, however, I do not have any models this size and it would be great as I can keep all these in my car trunk without occupying any space in the back seat or needing to fold down the rear 40/60 split seats of my car.

They look like a lot of FUN and I am looking for IN-FLIGHT video at the present time.

They are a little too small for my tastes; but I can see them being a big hit - and very marketable for Hobbico. If they'll keep the prices in line, and if they are reasonably reliable, certainly lots of them will be sold.

It's amazing how fast this hobby is evolving - with increasing emphasis on "quick and easy".

On another note; I'm very interested in the new Tactic 650 Tx. I've been using the 600 Tx with several SLT receivers. The system has been totally reliable with hundreds of flights in different planes. The 20 model memory and added adjustability of the 650 would give me good reason to limit my further purchases of Spektrum equipment. Especially since the Tactic 6 ch Rx is only $20 vs $50 for the Spektrum AR 600.

Yes, I would be curious as to the retail price of these.

I have several of the PK micros and talk about small, you would be best to stay away as those PZ Micro are in the 17 inch wing span range.

I like these new Flyzone with the 22 inch as they can be seen a little better and with a complete airfoil wing design.

We shall see soon, I hope.

They look absolutely great. Nice size, small but big enough to do some scale detailing on.
But - as usual - the price will decide if they will find a spot in my home.

Some of them are available on the Tower site, now, with estimated release dates for several others.
