Steve Job's yacht

We were in Cabo San Lucas the past two weeks and when taking a dinner cruise, found this yacht in the harbor. I think it is Steve Job's yacht that he never got a chance to take a cruise on. Not really fond of the design but when we saw it on its way up north a couple of days later, seemed to go nicely through the water. Jerryj98501

Don't hate me, but I like it.
I also like all genres of music, all styles of fine art, all forms of architecture, all types of dance, theatre, etc., etc.
It is diversity which gives us standards to judge by.
What I do dislike are those ridiculously designed, germ ridden, floating cities that sail out of Cape Canaveral and other ports around the world!
Sorry, but that is just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions!

In addition to being functional, Jobs wanted his designs to convey a visual message.

The original iMac? Sure it's a functional computer... but its form says "I'm friendly, and any nitwit liberal arts major can use me". It's self contained, no need or opportunity to add upgrades and widgets, no fear of RAIDing your SCSI with internal DRAMs or VGA expansion slots...





The yacht? I think it conveys this visual message:

"I laugh at you posers who pretend that your yachts are for sailing... you and I know they're just condos that conveniently and ostentatiously float in whatever overpriced harbor we chose to congregate in."

Honestly, I can't remember how I responded on the last thread about this boat... But seeing it in its somewhat natural environment, I think it original and I dare say, attractive.

I can envision enjoying a Martini or three on that foredeck.
