Stringfly,
That looks like an extremely short-coupled tail...is that the reason for the relatively small elevator surface?

I've recently built and flown an Ultimate Bipe from plans found on FoamyFlyer in the 40" configuration (and loved the flying character of the plane) and have a lot of foam and some more CF rod and tube laying around....

How would yours compare, more towards the indoor crowd or?...I would love to have a set of plans and build another bipe.

Thanks,
Kevin

SHORT COUPLED..

Yes it does look very short coupled and I thought it would be pitch sensitive.... But not at all... Just put the C/G where shown and its a pussy cat. For better hover transitions just move it back to where you like it. Superb flyer with no bad traits that I can find. I fly Tim H's Ultimate bipe with a astro and love it... but this can fly slower and still do great 3D stuff. It flys outdoors fine.. just not in tons of wind. Keep it light. Send me your email address and the plans are yours.. Stringfly
