FPV Speed Demon

Check out this Funjet Ultra 4S FPV setup!

Splash

Fast and Fun!

From RCGroups.com user i3dm:

Here is a short video I made this last weekend with my Funjet Ultra 4S FPV setup and a keychain 808 #16 camera. This bird has 3 servos (rudder included) and Storm OSD (working very well for this fast un stable bird!) and a Medusa 28-56-2800V2SE / 100A ESVC running on Turnigy 40C 2200 4S packs.

Maximum speed in straight and level - 210 Km/h !

Cool takeoff!

Funjet Ultra FPV on 4S - 210 Km/h maximum speed (5 min 32 sec)

Easy boys, I chose it. Its just a news piece to highlight interesting things in our forums. This is the new site wide format. If you visit the homepage, you'll see the news articles on the left hand side. Also, click the FPV goggles at the top of the page and you'll see all the FPV news articles we've created. This applies to other forums on the site as well.

The news article is stickied, but only temporarily. Hope that helps.

It doesn't. It's still annoying, and while it's interesting, it's not really news.
Nor was the "beta testers chosen" one that preceded it.

Plus one zillion

Plain wrong making this in particular into sticky

Someone was not thinking clearly at all making this video as sticky

I highly recomend this be removed from sticky status just because he break fpv rule and cross over highway with fpv plane

If I were from USA with possable laws banning fpv I would not want stickies to show unsafe fpv practice

Even though lots of guys do it why make such large mistake and make sticky with unsafe video

and yet again... Why isn't the 'Show us you Ground Station" a sticky yet???????????

folks have been asking that for years. Well I have. Ground station is as fundamental to FPV as the FPV plane thread, imho.

Can we sticky how to threads and new products instead? I find those to be more news worthy!

Legit product reviews is another good one. Especially if they're somewhat fair and unbios. We have new products that get released and those are great to quickly post. Then they get very noisy as people has out and vet the product. Good to stick for a week and then let them die into the background. There are some very talented people on here that will do excellent write ups. IBC's Wireless videos that were stickied is an excellent example. Other items of awesomeness could be Team Echelon's "In my Dreams" video they put out. I've been tempted to close and unstick the FPV video thread so awesome videos end up more in the open vs being buried 500 pages deep in that thread.

I frequent other forums quite often. One thing I like about DIYD is they let all members contribute to the front page. If it fits into the communities theme they'll post it. So you see legit informational things right there when you load the page.

My 2 cents, I'll get off my soap box and take my meds now ;-)

i dont think anything except "how do i start fpv" and recurring questions should be stickied. else the whole front fpv page is stickied, which doesnt serve any purpose.

that and the fact that the fpv section has enough traffic that it'd warrant some sub sections, but AFAIR, last RCG looked at this they decided not to do it (then everyone went to the other forum :P)

Don't you like a sticky discussion that has absolutely nothing todo with the sticky but rather discussing why it should not be a sticky

Close to 1000 views and 15 posts and not one comment about actual sticky subject

Got to make you think a little harder next time someone makes sticky

And fun jet going 200 km per hour is nothing special and done years ago by many people

I should report this sticky to a moderator as its truly offensive and must break some sort of regroups rules
