does anyone know if i can use alexmos control for pan and tilt instead of tilt and roll? Is it as simple as re-orientating the sensor?
I want to use it for my fpv cam and don't need roll, but really need pan!

I've seen a 3 axis copy board, but i'd much rather get the real deal. How much longer do we need wait?

Thanks to all,

Which direction should this MPU6050 be mounted? I assume flat and then which side should the pins be on in relation to the photo below of just the MPU6050 itself (left, right, top, bottom)? The middle photo is how I think it is supposed to go on the gimbal but am not sure...photo is from behind the gimbal facing forward.

The "Y" and "X" arrows confuse me because "Y" stands for vertical axis so if you follow the arrow on the MPU for "Y" then the MPU would be positioned vertically, not flat like I see it in gimbal photos???

Well I received the same board in the mail as in the Arm website photo so I'm assuming that it is in fact the 3 axis board...however the 3 axis firmware hasn't been released on the Simple BGC website yet so we'll have to wait for that before being able to use the 3rd axis.

I have received 2 armbgc controllers but I have some problems with IMUs

- One doesn't work, I can't calibrate it with GUI (I have tried with both controllers)!

- The other one works bad, I can calibrate it with GUI but roll and pitch indicators are not stable and signals from IMU are not continuos line!

I have same problems with GUI on Mac OS and Windows7

Help me, please!!!

Thank you
