Video Montage

As the weather is pretty poor at the moment I thought I'd make a short montage of some of my video clips.

Thank you! The Phantom's an amazing machine - once one gets past all the little quirks required to get smoother video! - still, not that steep a learning curve!

I'm planning on doing some vids of Camels in the Desert next!

Watching the shadow it looks like it started heading for the trees.
Did a prop start to spin on the shaft? There is a noise before the crash that sounds like that.

Yes that is the part I was talking about before the tree, I really dont know all but 1 prop was fine. The broken one had a tip broken off maybe 1/2 inch. This was from my Phantom with Graupners

It may have lost the tip from an earlier fracture that went un-noticed.

First post, still plowing throught the phantom thread, and found link to this thread there, so here is my contribution, Not as good quality as you guys, but I had great fun making the video From the very first flight of my GoPro Hero 3, It had to go airborned at some point, so i wanted to make a movie about it. Sorry for the bad 60`s schifi - but it was the best i could by using the tools available at the time.
Enjoy...

Church of St. Michael De Rupe , Brentor , Dartmoor.

The Church of St Michel de Rupe ("Saint Michael of the Rock") atop the Tor dates to the 13th century, and measures 15 feet (4.6 m) wide and 37 feet (11 m) long. The tower is 40 feet (12 m) high and houses five bells. At one point, the Church may have been used as a Beacon tower, used to spread word of enemies seen out to sea. Around the Tor are Iron Age earthworks, the remnants of a Hill fort. Unusually, the fortifications are at the base of the Tor, rather than the summit as is more normal.
No serious archaeological work has been carried out on the site. However, the northern ramparts in particular are well preserved, displaying a multi-vallate pattern characteristic of the Iron-A, or early -B, culture. There are three distinct consecutive ramparts in this sector, and traces of internal partitioning.
The Church has a capacity of approximately forty people. St Michael's is still used on Christmas Day, Easter Day and for Evensong during the summer. In 1995 the Church was struck by lightning, which caused extensive damage, but this has since been repaired.
Filmed with DJI Phantom Quadcopter and GOPRO Hero3 Black camera.
1080p , 60fps and 75% post stabilization applied due to the strong gusts of wind on top of the Tor.

Burrator Reservoir and Dam , Dartmoor

Had a play around Burrator Reservoir and Dam on Dartmoor Yesterday.
The wind was blowing up through the valley making smooth flying a bit of an issue. Had to make many cuts to the video to remove the worst of the buffeting the rest was smoothed out with 75% post stabilization in PowerDirector 11.
