I've found a few threads on MotionRC, but nothing dedicated to the F-16. I seen Rich from RCInformer has a blog on it, but no thread.

The RocHobby F-16 is a fun to fly, predictable EDF jet built with very scale details. This airframe is very "floaty" and easy to land yet has plenty of power and maneuverability. I placed my order on Thursday and plane arrived on Monday and that was free shipping! I have to admit this plane is beautiful in person!

The servos have the spec rating on the servo! Awesome touch. Also the packing in the box is awesome. Each item is nicely wrapped.

I also ordered a enrichpower lipo. It was nicely wrapped and placed inside the box with the plane with a note indicating where it was in the box. Not only was the plane pre-soldered with deans (which I use), so was the battery. Each cell was nicely stored.

I ordered one last week, similar experience to most everyone else. Shipped extremely fast, very nice looking model goes together quite easy. Gear seems very flimsy, I had originally planned to just hand launch/belly land it but I realized I want the drop tanks and missiles on it because they really look cool, but I probably don't want to be landing on them.

Haven't flown it yet, hopefully this weekend if the weather gets nice, but so far, for $109 shipped to my door, seems like it was a pretty good deal!

Got a chance to look through the manuals today. Not to bad. The esc manual is exactly what is needed. Nice to see a detailed esc manual. The build manual isn't as detailed as a GP or HH manual, but is more detailed then what we normally get with other brands.

I also installed the wings and horizontal today with my own epoxy. The fuselage fins ill hot glue and I plan on only installing the wing missiles so I'll hot glue those as well.

Great to see this as the norm with all FMS products now. FMS has come a long way in the last few years. I hope to see this thread grow and become a big owners thread. When I receive mine I will post box pics, build pics and some flight videos. Love to see some pics/video from the guys who already own this model. As of now there are only a couple of videos on YouTube

Yes I completely agree, FMS has really steppes their level up and have begun a major name. IMHO HH, Hobbico and FMS are the big 3.

Posting your build and pics would be great! I also would love to see this blow up into a owners thread.

Check the nylon hinges for glue inside of them. One of my hinges was stiff, found some glue stuck inside of it. Quick fix, just a heads up guys.

As far I got before the wife made me come inside

I always place heat shrink over the extension connectors as added security. Been doing it for years. Similar to Scotch tape guys have put on theirs.

I powered up before installing the wings or horizontal to check the servo horns and they were all pretty much close 90. I didn't have to adjust any servo horns.. :thumbup:
