Just thought of something. How about a simi-orginized Aerobird sonic combat event (any AB with Xport)? Just look how long the ABC thread is. Very popular plane err toy........ Maybe something like a sheet to sign-up (prob would be several on the same ch), first pilot to get (X) number of hits wins or most hits in (X) amount of time. Figure it could be something that could be done in the parkflyer aera. I dunno, just thinking outloud...

I just registered, Jeff... Are you shipping the shirts this time? There was a 3.00 shipping fee, just curious as to why.
Ps: I'm tying a string to my belt and my chargers this year.....no more leaving them there!! Btw, what's my pilot #?

Just wanted to verify this..
Are the rules that are now listed on the site for the "largest sport plane contest" the rules that will be used?
Jan 02, 2004, 08:42 PM
Yes....those are the rules...
Billy....that's a possibility....I don't see why it would conflict with the regular flying...

I'm a dad of two boys, and I don't think my family will see a problem with me doing what I love on Father's day...the way I see it, SEFF is one time a year, and EVERY day is Father's day!!
Now, what's my pilot #, or, did I beat Ed to the punch, haha?
Jan 02, 2004, 09:52 PM
I'll have to check ...but you are pilot #3 or 4.....
Ed's slacking off this year....
It is amazing...I was just updating the SEFF site on New Year's Eve in the afternoon....check email the next day and people are already registering....

He's getting a new sled......
I should have a pic in the next week or so.....
We have decided to keep SEFF scheduled as planned......
I will probably ask a moderator to delete some of my posts so folks do not get confused...

Here's a question for ya Jeff! How 'bout selling extra tins of SEFF mints! I'm almost out of my mints, took'm to work to keep in my tool box, & eat on'm every now & agin. Every time I get a mint I think about SEFF........ Alot better than thinking about work I tell ya!
Jan 06, 2004, 11:04 AM
Whoo hoo I'm in :-)
Yes, me too, I am almost out of my mints, I keep them in my desk at work.
My wife and I are planning on going, we were there last year and had a great time. My wife got her picture in the paper for the only female Zagi combat pilot, we framed the picture when we got home.
And yes she has kept her Zagi ready for combat again this year

Horizon Hobby is again donating 50 of the new micro digital servos for the raffle!
They are planning on donating a bunch stuff that has not been released yet....so you'll have to wait a little while before I can post some info on these...
