Airfield 4 Ch. F/A 18 Blue Angel 64mm EDF 686mm Wingspan Jet

The F/A 18 is a fighter aircraft designed to take on many roles in various missions. The F/A designation stands for fighter/attack making this plane ideal for all types of assault missions. The F/A 18 is used by all branches of the military. The Navy and Marines use the F/A 18. The Air Force utilizes that F/A 18 and designates it the "Hornet". The US Navy also has a flight demonstrations squadron of F/A 18 designated the "Blue Angels"

Airfield has created a beautiful 27" wingspan F18 Blue Angel. The aircraft is constructed of durable EPO foam and finished with a magnificent Blue Angles paint scheme. This aircraft is powered by a 4100KV 64mm ducted fan unit. A 30 amp brushless electronic speed controller supports the current draw of this powerful motor. The aileron and elevator control surfaces are operated by individual 9 gram servos. This bird has a steer able nose wheel as well making taxing on the runway easy.

This almost ready to fly model comes with most of the electronics installed making assembly a breeze. You will need a 11.1v 1600mah battery and charger system to power all the electronics. You will also need a radio system of at least 4 channels that accommodate all the control surfaces.?

My briothers, nephews and I went to the El Centro air show last year and we watched the real Blue Angels. It was a first for me and was totally unforgettable.

GREAT looking plane once more, Nancy!

Looks like a re-badged Art-Tech F-18, right down to the plastic LERX fences that have to be glued in place.

Looking into this plane as my blue angle's EDF choice. Think this would be a good first EDF plane? Currently flying an Ares Gamma Pro (4 channel high wing). What are flight times like?
