Hi Harry,

I think 30 amps is too big for the One (260mm). You may not even have any space left to mount the battery. As for the motors, in the picture, it looks like a heli motor. Do you have a link to the motor so we can look up the specs?

how many times can you bend the legs straight before the alloy gets to weak?
Not sure. I never broke one. Bend them all the time, but never broke on me. I have re-designed the skids and soon all mu quads will be using much stronger skids.

The skids is what has been criticised the most about my quads, and I can see why. Definitely not my best invention.

Best,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Definatly not criticising,i would recommend anyone to buy the frames,,,,....as already discussed i hope to buy a few more!.............

After buying other quads, and breaking a leg everytime you hit the ground, its nice theres no damage,or just a bent leg you can just bend back.....

Hi Guys
I built my "ONE" and I put 30a ESC's on it as I have some that fit their RCMC 30A. As Chris knows I had a 20a go out don't know why so just put these on the ONE. I have found if it can be broken I can do it couple of pics. Oh, so far no problems if I could just stop hitting trees:

I`d suggest replacing the cnc skids with 2 long cut foam noodle pieces. The skids are just way too fragile. As for the quad itself, No complaints here.

On both my M230s and my CNC 258 I use trex gear without the pipes.

Works great IMO

Discounted FPV kit... I'll bite. I might be able to produce some sort of support system. What's the price?

Any hobby shop that sell RC helicopters will have them.

Here is a start you can buy with or without the pipes.
Just remember you do have to modify the frame by drilling a couple small holes to attach them.

Worth mentioning, astounding job with wires from motors to esc. i changed my setup on my "One" after reading your post.

Gratitude

Hi Samcro
Thanks it just seemed to work that way. I haven't solved how or what I want to do to give more protection to the underside by way of better landing gear. I have a set of Trex 450 gear and may do on the order of what "jsflyrv" did with his quad. The best thing about this thread is we can help each other and enjoy each others progress while sharing our ideas. "old saying" - like me - The more heads the better for solving problems.
