Speedo
I just assembled one of these for a friend, and I found there were a few issues which made it more than a 1 hour job.
1. Canopy hold-down wire was rubbing on the motor, causing a scratched motor can because we all pick up a model and turn its prop don't we? Corrected by shortening and bending the wire.
2. The v-tail mount is a little fragile. When bolting on the v-tail assembly be aware that the fuselage tube at that point is VERY thin. I cracked the one I was building and so I inserted a cut down nylon spacer from the tail end to prevent further crushing.
3.The black look of the fuselage pod is done with black paint, which easily scratches off during handling. A Magic Marker fixes that.
4. A micro RX is a must. The Spectrum 6 channel will fit.
With everything in the suggested position, it balances perfectly.
I don't know if this one has flown yet, but I saw my friend yesterday and he is still speaking to me!!
