I enjoy most when I go to a contest, my stuff works like it is supposed to, and I put up two official flights flown as well as I can fly them.

Working hard and getting that little cut that wins the match
The better the opponent the better it feels.

The crash site is not nearly as hard to find as with FF or RC. Just 60' or so to walk up to it. Just kidding! I love the connected feel.

In Marine Corps Boot Camp, DI's and PMI's told us straight shooting would prove a tremendous meditation. Having no clue what a meditation was, I was delighted to discover a true, natural high and experience a very mellow mood following shooting well that might last for 4 to 5 hours. When I plan and follow through with them and get a particulary successful day improving my flying, I again get a great mellow, natural high.

Whatching the scatch built ceration fly for the first time. Knowing it is something I dreamed up and seeing that it really does fly. It's really nice when it flies stable and manuvers like it should!

Listening to my engines scream on tight lines without bogging through the loops, followed by rolling landings in the grass, and then detailing my greasy babies after I get home and unload, still re-living the day's flights in my mind. Drifting off to sleep practicing stunts I'll do better next time.

I like the "feel". This is why I prefer control line over RC. Nothing feels better than a hulin' combat ship running over 100 headed straight for the ground and pulling it out inverted about a few feet off the ground, and holding it dead level. Puts a smile on my face every time I do it.
