StuCopter

This is a thread to document construction of the StuCopter. I recieved the parts I needed to start the build today. Stuart is an Australian Vet who is house bound and was looking for a creative way to "Contact with the outside World". We have helped him do just that before the first parts of the quad were even ordered.
You can read the thread here. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1833290
A few of us got togather and decided to help make his simple dream come true.
Here are a few pictures from todays build session.

Subscribed. Tarro, this is a very cool thing you guys are doing. I just recently got interested in this hobby and read through the other thread last night. If it's not too much trouble, please detail this build so noobs like me can follow and learn something as well. I'm learning it is quite complicated when you are brand new to it and I am trying to be the sponge.

Hi Guys,
I am at the final stage of construction and I would like some ideas on the placement of some of the component. I would like to use the stock 450 landing gear, I feel the broad base and low profile will make take off and landing easier. I was think that this location for the Go Pro was good for visablity and would be enough protection for the camera. What do you think?
Thanks
Gary
