Glad to hear it!

Post a video of the gimbal and mimic that video without postprocessing. Then come back on here and make those claims. I guess you might need to get a real FC then too, but hey, that's just semantics.
What kind of gimbal are you using? The manufacturer? Is it pre-assembled or is it a kit?

Dji gopro direct drive gimbal

Just pop back from Bve-expo London.
I saw the Dji gopro gimbal first hand, it wasn't on display but the Dji rep I was speaking to happily went around the back to get it.

Man this thing is tiny, just like the big Z15 I can clearly see that tremendous amount of ingenuity went in to it.

Picking sense from what I was told it will be geared at the hobby level.
Only hope this hobby level flows hand in hand with a low hobby price

A few other mutirotor guys were about too, plus vast amount of fancy cameras electronics and gadgets all over the place.

The only chance that dji left for other brushless gimbals, is when they call too high prices.

Are you saying that how the gimbal looks is more important then how it performs? The reason I have to ask, is because at the moment some of the "other" gimbals clearly perform better in videos then what DJI has shown so far..

Plus others (based on AlexMos) are stand-alone and don't require a NAZA FC. Some people seem to assume that everyone nowadays would be using a NAZA FC.

They must have made some changes. I have seen 2 other pictures of gimbals claiming to be zenmuse for gopro and they look different than these. One is on quadcopters and the other is on the "zenmuse gimbal for gopro by dji" page here on RCG.

That was a very early prototype. That photo was taken half a year ago from the Chinese RC forum (5imx) and reposted here with the 5imx image overlay at the bottom removed.

Here is where it started, on 5imx, on 2012-09-25:
http://bbs.5imx.com/bbs/forum.php?mo...=682561&page=1

"piccoloflyer" (same username on RCG) was the one who took it from there and did repost it here on RCG with the 5imx watermark stripped. You'll see a post of his on that 5imx thread on page 4 (dated 2012-09-27).

Here is where it went on RCG on 2012-09-27:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1740788

It didn't take long and someone mentioned that this is a very heavy prototype and the production model will be much lighter. Some dealers then took the RCG photo and put it in their shop to have Google crawl it so they would be high in the results pages once the product would really be shipped to them and sales would start, e.g. quadcopters.co.uk.

And the Gopro is obvioulsy inserted the wrong way, so the optical axis is way off from the gimbal's roll axis.
