For Sale
More Cheap Airframes - Houston LPU

I've got a few more airplanes to get rid of. These are LPU only. I accept cash or paypal (no gift):

1. SOLD - - $10 - Flyzone Red Hawk Twin - I built this plane for an article last year. It's basically two Red Hawks combined into one plane. It includes two 6v-speed 400 brushed motors. No servos, rx, or ESC - - SOLD

2. $10 Eflite Tribute - This is another plane I converted to a twin. It's just the airframe.

3. $50 airframe-only/$100 w/servos (2x hs45, 2x hs65).Radical RC Wright Stick - This is a very cool plane that uses parts from 2 Slow Stick kits to make a faux 1905 Wright Flyer. Looks good/flies good. Always gets lots of attention at the field.

That Wright Flier is really cool.

Pretty cool planes Terry. I read your article in the MA about the Redhawk. Keep up the neat builds!

Oh, how I wish this weren't an LPU.

I remember the Red Hawk twin article and it inspired me to resurrect the SkyFly2 I'd reviewed for this site. The fuselage was a mess, but I got a new one at retail and a new wing for $5. I also have the tailfeathers which I picked up for another five bucks for both in case I need them. The originals were fine.

It has a Turnigy Park 400 motor hanging out back and it flies great with the cheapie little park flyer radio I yanked from my Rotor Concept HPQ1 quad.

Great little project and I'd hate to see you let it go since you managed to get it in a print review.

Yes, I still have the Twin Red Hawk. While it is a nice flying airplane, I would not recommend using it as a trainer. It's somewhat complex for a beginner due to having the inverted v-tail and two completely separate power systems.

I flew at the Deer Park Club once several years back. Is that the spot you're talking about?

You like making "Franken-planes" like I do... LOL it's a new level of building that I've come to enjoy.
I've got a nephew in Houston area... are ANY of these planes ship-able?? I can have him pick em' up and hopefully get the RedHawk shipped to me in Oregon. I may get the Wright plane also if you still have it. let me know please.. my reg. email is 1godscowboy@gmail.com
Thanks

I guess it all depends on how much effort you (or your nephew) are willing to invest.

There's no way with the Tribute...not without hacking it up first

The Red Hawk could be disassembled with marginal effort and damage (separating) the fuselage pods and v-tail. But then you'd have to realign and glue it after shipping.

The Wright Stick actually could break down to 2 Slow Stick wings (no dihedral) and some wood bits. Most of it is held together with nuts/bolts, but there are some glue joints. The tail boom and rudder are detachable by design.
