I changed my mind and decided to finnish her off.

She's almsot ready to fly! I just need to add the ESC and wait for the rest of the epoxy to set!

I will fly her very soon!

Hey guys

I did fly it. With my motor/batteries is was severly under powerd, and since i have no funds to buy a proper power system for it, if anyone local wan'ts it there most welcome to have it.

It would pretty much do a powerd glide into the ground. It handeled nicely, but my set-up is to weak to fly it.

Im useing:

180 size motor, EPS 300 C gears
Home made gearbox
7 cell 200 mah nicad
10x4.7 prop.

I built the same plane but I think mine is a little bigger. I flew he once with a Electric Goldmine surplus G4046 motor with a home made 6 to 1 ratio gea box and 3 Li Po batteries.

Then I used a home made twin IPS C ratio motor with a 10x4.7 prop and 3 E-tec Li Po cells.

It flies great with plenty of vertical.

Hey Thomas,
what size batteries do you have? Are they all nicads? What motors do you have laying around?

Do you have a charger that will charge a 2-cell Lipoly pack.
