The V450D03 is a 6ch CP heli isn't it? And not a 4ch FP (the subject of this thread)... Do you have experience with 6ch CP helis???

I also have a Devo 8s, and I don't know if you could fit a Solo Pro 228p with a Walkera Rx... Any comments?

Not quite... but don't take my word for it, I am only a humble semi-newbie...
So far I've passed more time waiting for spare parts for my 6ch CP than flying.
Even my Brother in-law (an experienced 6ch CP pilot) has mentioned that flying the 4ch FP V911 is way more fun than his T-Rex

You said at first you wanted a 4ch, the V450 is a 6ch. If it is a FP 4ch you are looking for that is large I own a MJX F45 4ch and freakn love it. Its a 70cm (27") heli so its a good size It does have brushed motors in it but you can buy an upgrade with brush less but I have flown mine a lot and still haven't had any problems with the brushed motor. I'm sure I will eventually but I will get the brush less kit when I do. I have flown other 4ch helis, a friend at work has walkera and eflite helis and he too likes mine over his. It has lots of power and looks great it has a carbon fiber look all over it. And for the price you can't beat it, I paid $110 for the heli, extra set of main and tail blades, and a transmitter with a large LCD screen on it. Very very stable heli. Name: 41mzH3gmXhL.jpg

Have any of you heard of the fx052, I have one on order from banggood. It's a 450 size 4ch fixed pitch. Suppose to handle winds and still fly with good speed. I forget what servos it has but they are suppose to be the difference. There is a YouTube video review of it. Thought everyone might be interested.

Agree with a cheap durable quad. FWIW, my WL Toys V939 seems to be quite hard to kill. Cheap.

If heli's are your ultimate goal, get past this FP stage quick. mCP X / BL might be your next logical step.

I don't know what your budget is, but the Armattan 355 V3 quad is as good as you will find for FP performance. Quads fly circles around conventional FP helis. It has good quality aluminum arms and frame, so it's very hard to break. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...light=armattan.

Here's a good example of aerobatic quad performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTWmOHedrXw
Hi,
I wrote the guys from Helipal about the ETA for the new order of V200D01 and they said they have already ordered them and should be getting a new lot in about three weeks. Xheli.com is also waiting for Walkera to produce a new lot. There are still some available from www.rcheliopterselect.com and wowhobbies is getting their new lot on 03.08 but they are all preordered.
Hope this helps any of you trying to get one.

I dont know if this is what your looking for but I would recommend the WLtoys v913. It has a flybar but it's a pretty big 4ch. heli.
