The distance is very individual, you can even gain thrust if you fit a pipe in the right shape. Most can keep their thrust if the pipe is installed correctly and many will loose ~30% by installing it in a posision that looks right.

I strongly suggest you test rather then snag a number of a forum. The smaller the jet the more important it is. A P20 setup needs a good hand when installing it to get it working well. I have tested so I know! Others might guess ;-)

HAB Electronic test and tune bench (1 min 45 sec)

Now thats guessing(!)

The Jetcat table is wrong. following it will snag 10-15oz of thrust with ease!

Henke what do you recommend for the P20. I have mine 20mm inside bellmouth in my Habu32. I am getting 2154grams on a fish scale, so I am loosing some to wheel friction when measuring. I didn't think that was too bad.

Hello,

I've not tested that much so I can predict every case but I know my engine ran very well on a 40 pipe(Kolibri ~3kg thrust). Also I would try with less overlap. 0-10mm or so...

A P20 running in the free does about 2.1kg in normal indoor temprature from what my tests show.

Just a quick question guys -

I have a 41mm dia thrust pipe for my kolibri T32 and it has a small bell mouth on one end. What would be recommended for spacing from end of turbine outlet cone to the bell mouth or pipe?

Any help really appreciated

Cheers!
