cox " engine tuning " record
Hello, I remember 25 years or so ago, I got my first model. A P40 warhawk control line. I also remember it had a record that you could play that told you how to tune the cox engine and played engine sounds. I can't remember if that came with the kit or was seperate. Has anyone seen this? Everytime I see a P40 kit on ebay I look and never a mention of this record. Was this something seperate or was there a certain package that came with this?

I had a P-40 and a couple of Stukas in the late '60s, but never heard of a record. I could have probably used the tips from it as I didn't fully understand engine unloading in the air back then. I probably ran more than a few too-lean runs.
I bet you had the Testors record Ah Clem mentioned.
