Blade 450 3D or 300x

Well I've been practicing on the sim and with my FP heli long enough. I'm looking to buy my first CP heli. My question to you guys is which should I get? The 450 3D BNF can be had new on Amain for only 179.99. But it was just discontinued. On the other hand I could shell out the extra cash for the 300x. What do you guys think? I'm pretty sure parts support won't be going away for the 3D, but would the 300x be a better option?

i have the 300x and i love it with the BX system its rock solid she flys really nice to, she confidence in you to fly bigger helis, i never flew the 4503d yet but i have a 400sr and it has the flybar not a big fan of it. Now a days people are going to the (FBL) less linkage fewer pieces to replace my first CP was the 130x and i still fly her alot as well as my 300x....maybe try a smaller CP heli then jump up to a bigger one here are two (Walkera)http://www.helipal.com/walkera-hm-v4...FQXnnAodfTsAVw and 130x http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...FQ3znAodkggArg

I've had alot of practice time on the sim and I'm fairly confident I can handle it. I've flown my friends HoneyBee CPX and that went fine.

If I was looking for a low cost step up I would not hesitate to get that $179 Blade 450 3D from Amain! Both Amain and HH have good coustomer service and I have had great luck with the blade helis although I only have micros nCPx to 300x. the 300x is a great deal from Ampdraw if you want a FBL heli Or, if you are like me....find a way to get them both

good luck

Well I've come up with another option. I could wait a while and save up for the 450x...I just can't decide.

I bought 2 of the Blade 450 BNF's at the sale price. I figure I'll get a 500 size FBL heli next year after I have some stick time. But yeah, it seems that FBL helis are the ones to get.

Well I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I've decide smaller is better for now. I'm thinking I'll get a 130x so I can really progress without having to worry so much about big breakages, then maybe this summer I'll get a 300x or a 450x.
