I'm planning on building a Rockwell X-30 plane this spring/summer. I haven't decided on the size yet, probably 4-5' long.
I'm going to get some drawings and cad plans together, hopefully I can make it happen

So the way I see it, a 1/48 scale foam one would be a good starting point, at 3.3ft long and 1.54ft wide, and the final version as a 1/32 scale at 5ft long and 2.3ft wingspan.
Those are definitely some odd proportions, and weight distribution will be critical. Batteries will definitely go waaaayyy up in the nose.
This is an approximate CG
