Question
Jet recomendation

No one here has a Jet so I figured may as well be the first !...LOL

I have flown fast plane like a Stryker Q and I'm building a Pogo at the moment

I'm looking for something I can possibly hand launch and rather on the cheap side I have servos and stuff so an ARF or kit with motor would be fine

can someone recommend something half decent with good flight behavior
cheers

You sure leave alot to guess about!

More info is needed like, how much money is cheap?
Ducted fan or pusher prop jet? For had launch and cheap, probably something in foam. What size are you looking for? You need to help us out here!

,
sorry , lets see I have some 3S 2200-3300 and 4S 2200-2500 and larger
I was thinking ducted fan but seems like pusher is more efficient ...
About the size of a Stryker so I can actually see it !!
I tried a Rifle once , could not see the dam thing !!

If a pusher jet will satisfy what your looking for now, and to save some cash, look into building your choice here: http://www.parkjets.com/

If you take a look at this forum-- http://www.rcgroups.com/pusher-prop-jet-models-237/ you might find something that suits you. Lots of build threads on Parkjet Models, some good videos with-in the threads too!. At least some where to start looking. Some of the plans have been enlarged from 100%, and up to 175%. The F-15 at that size is huge! Anyway it's another option to look at, that will save you cash!

I have one of these and love it:

http://www.bananahobby.com/tiger-mee...5507-prd1.html

It's fairly fast stock- about 90mph- and pretty durable. Can't beat the price. It has two slots at the center of gravity where the landing gear looks like it was supposed to go, and it is perfect for your finger and thumb for hand launching. One of my favorites for stress free fun- and it draws a big crowd. Kids love it.

Just noticed it's out of stock. That's pretty common- they sell out pretty quick when they get them in.

How about a ZETA Astro or Blade? You can configure it for pusher or edf as per your liking.
You can even put 3 edf units into it.

Have a look at it. Here's the link.

The Phase 3 F-16 was my first EDF and it was a great choice. Very easy to hand launch with no bad flying qualities. Flies great bone stock on a 3S 2200mah pack (about 75mph). Plenty fast enough for a plane with a 26" wingspan IMHO but it can be hopped up to do almost double that speed.
Pretty rugged even though mine was EPS, and easy to repair.
It has been around for years and is very popular for good reason.
Cheers
