Its Not an EDF Sir, Turboprop I.E. 4 propellers, there will be a wheeled version, but as for retracts you will have to add those yourself.

These CNC kits that we will be coming out with will give the Modeller the freedom to add or modify these models as he sees fit.

Ming has Great Kits! I own a few myself.

But we also need to start Making RC planes here at home again or the Hobby in this country will continue to decline, there needs to be balance in the RC world.

A Hercking we Go!

It's time to start cutting the First parts of Our New CNC'ed 113300-Herck!

SilverFox and I went over the latest work on the Herck before SIlverF started to have his CNC machine start cutting.

I'm AMAZED with the work SF has to do to make a CAD 3D file CNC ready, makes me look like a retard!

Here we are looking at the 3D CAD slices of the Herck.

The First CNC Herck piece!

Today SilverFox and I, or shall I say I watched SF work His CNC machine and cut out the first section of the Herck's fuse . . . solid foam nose.

I did help Vac up the foam scraps.

Looks like SF could put some plastic surgeons out of business since a pair of those nose cones inserted in properly sized brazier would look pretty much as good and feel just as real as the silicone jobs.

You could probably set up a retractable main gear with a couple of these babies and a pair of lead screws...

Are you using a regular drill bit to cut the foam? If so, that's one thing I've never tried. I use a two flute end mill bet. It cuts ok, but I am looking for something different...and cheaper.
