power for heavy lift octo?

I am wondering what others are using for a heavy lift octo? I am currently flying a octo with 2 5450mah. My flight times are only 4.5 minutes with 10 lbs on the camera gimbal to simulate a red epic. I flew today with 5 lbs and got an extra minute and a half to 6 min. What is anyone using for power for this type of load?
thanks
Jeff

Why don't you tell us what you're using for motors, props and octo size

This is a heavy lift octo sold by aerial technologies. It has axi 2826/12 motors with xoar 14-5 props. The batteries we currently have are maxamp 5450 14 volt. Only running just 2 but have ordered the wires and plugs to make up parallel connectors to run 4 batteries. We are going to fly a red epic camera with this octo.
thanks
Jeff

those are some juicy motors.

I'm running AVroto 2814 's w/ 11" props on 2x 4s5000mah, and getting much better than that.

Is this on a octo or hex? What kindof weight do you think you will be able to lift with your setup?

Droidworx AD8HL w/ AV200 + DSLR. Haven't got the weight of the entire setup, but I'm assuming 8-10#-ish?
