Ubec for ignition on G62
I'm planning on installing a 5v bec with a 2s lipo for the ignition on a G62. Is there a minimum amperage is or a regular 5v, 5amp bec enough?

Most CDI units draw less than 1 ampere. But there are a few odd ball ones that consume more though. So if the voltage regulator can handle 5 amps, that is perfectly fine. It doesn't hurt to have some extra current handling capability for those hot summer days where the airplane is exposed to the sunlight for extended periods of time at the flying field. Albeit in Canada it wouldn't be as hot in the summer as it is down here in Texas.

At peak in the summer in Quebec, 90f is a real scorcher for us. Summer is around 75-90.
I found this while browsing Hobbyking and may just go for it. I'm new to larger models so I need a little bit of guidance for 2 models concerning power to the servos.
Direct question: is this item enough for the Amr trainer 50 (g62) and the my 5 meter sailplane?
I will be powering the trainer 50 and the sailplane with 2 x 2s 2000mah batteries. To save weight on the Fashionista, I will be using a smaller 6s battery for the motor.
Trainer 50: 7 servos: 2 aileron,2flaps,1 rudder, 1 elevator, 1 motor
Fashionista: 6 sevos, 2 airbrakes: 2 aileron, 2flaps, 1 rudder, 1 elevator, 2 electric airbrakes.
