Decathlon 40
Witch is the best plane Seagull Decathlon .40 or Phoenix Model Decathlon .40. What is the beat engine choice 2 and 4 stroke.

I have the Phoenix. It is a very nice beautiful plane. 4 strokes are always gonna be best for scale planes.

I have the Seagull Decathlon 40 and like the plane. Not to pleased with the instructions though. Running a OS 46sx and wished I had A 55ax instead.

The SeaGull Decathlon flies nicely. But a 40 sized engine will not fly aerobatics. It's about 8 pounds full up weight, and probably needs a gas 20cc to fly powerfully.

I had the Phoenix Decathlon with a saito .82. The power was just right. There isn't a great deal of difference in the Phoenix and the Seagull.

hi huys
i have the seagull Decathlon 40 with an ASP 91 fs on it.
its flyies very strong , super scale and that sound in the air ROCKS. seagull makes great quality, and flies GREAT, slow landing characteristics,dont hesitate |
